The boy who lived

Ostatnio w naszym lokalnym scrapbookingowym światku pojawiły się produkty nawiązujące do słynnej serii o czarodzieju. Ja osobiście książki i filmy tej serii lubię, szczególnie w okresie zimowym odpalam filmy i oglądam wraz ze znajomymi ciesząc się klimatem szkoły czarodziejów itp. (taki powrót do dzieciństwa).
No ale właśnie, ostatnio pojawiły się na sklepowych półkach dwa różne zestawy papierów z tymi motywami, a dodatkowo Craftvena ściągnęła zestawy stempli praktycznie bezpośrednio nawiązujące do tej tematyki. I tak mnie jakoś naszło, żeby coś w tej materii zrobić. Człowiek jak musi to musi, bo inaczej się udusi 😉 Koncept na bohatera przyszedł dość szybko. Przygotowując dla was przykładową prace na live, doznałam olśnienia jak mogłabym wykorzystać stemple Stampers Anonymous / Tim Holtz do tego celu (Crazy Birds, Crazy Things). Brakowało mi jednak tła, czegoś co ładnie zespoliło by mi wszystkie elementy.
Przeglądając YouTube natknęłam się na cudną prace Marine Simon, która genialnie dobrała kolory tła i to był ten moment, w którym całość wskoczyła mi na właściwe tory, a czego efektem jest praca prezentowana poniżej. Zainspirowało mnie to jednak na tyle, że mam już kilka pomysłów na nowe prace w tematyce magicznej. Już niedługo je wam zaprezentuje 🙂

Recently, products referring to the famous series about the wizard have appeared in our local scrapbooking world. I personally like the books and films of this series, especially in the wintertime, I watch these films with my friends, enjoying the atmosphere of the wizarding school, etc. (kind of a return to childhood).
As I have mentions, two different sets of papers with these motifs have recently appeared on store shelves, and in addition, Craftvena imported sets of stamps practically directly related to this topic. And somehow it came to me to do something about it. Man gotta do what a man gotta do (otherwise he/she will suffocate ;)) The concept of the hero came quite quickly. While preparing an example of workf for a LIVE for you, I had a revelation how I could use Stampers Anonymous / Tim Holtz stamps for this purpose (Crazy Birds, Crazy Things) . However, I missed the background, something that would nicely connect all the elements.
While browsing YouTube, I came across the wonderful work of Marine Simon, who brilliantly chose the background colors and that was the moment when the whole thing jumped on the right track, and the result is the work presented below. However, it inspired me enough that I already have a few ideas for new works on the subject of magic. I will present them to you soon 🙂 Stay tuned!
